For the first time in its summer version, the garden illuminates the forest loop of the Petit Sentier, located at the Center of Interpretation of the Nature of Boisbriand, on August 21th, 2017. Sparked among trees and undergrowth vegetation, mechanical flowers have highlighted the sweetness of this summer evening. Encircled by greenery, the sensors revealed the presence of contemplative spectators through a revisited and more dynamic light effects.
Surrounded in a tailored musical composition, made up of whispers and forest sounds, the audience was transported in a gentle and joyful contemplation. Three times, replacing music through whispers, sounds of owls and streams, Bruno Lachapelle gave performances of Hang Drum, a pentatonic percussive instrument of a dreamlike melancholy.
If many people in the public have spent their family time in a playful way with the flower sensors, lot of others have remained close to a full hour, admiring the lights on the tranquil rhythm of the Hang Drum.
